Fast Fuel Debt Recovery Now Underway with Payment Watch
Fuel retailers are starting to benefit from faster recovery of unpaid fuel debts thanks to the new data access capabilities introduced after BOSS became the first fuel debt recovery agency accredited by Police CPI to the DVLA’s KADOE service.
The accreditation, announced recently by BOSS – the British Oil Security Syndicate – is being fully implemented, enabling the Payment Watch service to start recovering Drive-Off and Failure-to-Pay debts within 72 hours of an incident being reported.
The faster turnaround means retailers are seeing quicker identification of vehicle keepers, which will lead to earlier recovery of funds, reducing financial losses and improving cash flow.
The new capability is starting to deliver real benefits to retailers. By accelerating requests for accurate vehicle keeper data from the DVLA KADOE service, BOSS can act on incidents within days rather than weeks. It’s a major step forward in our ongoing commitment to support forecourt operators and protect their businesses.
The introduction of faster data access and recovery processes underscores BOSS’s leadership in forecourt crime prevention and its continued investment in making Payment Watch the UK’s most effective and compliant fuel debt recovery service.
With these enhancements now live, no one gets retailers’ money back faster than Payment Watch.
